| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a 2000 mustang gt. when cold, and putting the vehicle in drive or reverse, it will suddenly jump forward or reverse depending on if your in reverse or drive. it is if it "gives" itself gas. i tried contacting ford and they said there was a problem, but not something that they were "prepared" to deal with at this time. this is a safety hazard that if someone is not prepared, will cause them to go into traffic, hit a young child or gas pump. this is not isolated, i have spoken to several people that have had the same problem. my vehicle does this often, and if my wife is driving it, i have to remind her to be careful. *ak |
