Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: My check engine light came on my 2000 toyota camera with 52000 miles. went to montrose toyota to have checked out. code po441 indicated vapor pressure sensor for evaporative emissions inoperative. canister failing. cost of repair around $500. the only cause the dealer knows of for this failure is over filling the gas tank after it shuts off. i do not over fill my tank. this is a charcoal canister that takes in gasoline vapors. over filling the tank will cause the charcoal in the canister to start breaking up. i was told this is an emissions problem and these defects should be covered by the manufacturer for up to 100000 miles. *cb
