| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: When vehicle engine is primarily cold and you begin to start in drive range there is a rattle/vibration that sounds like metal striking together very rapidly. noise is coming from the engine/firewall area. it's an intermittent problem but very consistant at cold. dealer has installed exhaust balancers, replaced left catalytic converter, replaced valve assy- throttle, rattle kit, neutralized engine mounts. noise remains but less pronounced. very irritating fora vehicle of this price that only has 5600 miles on it. this problem has been worked on since 5/14/03 vehicle purchased february 2003. service department has been great, but problem still exist. *ak |
