| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My complaint is regarding nhtsa campaign number 03v309000. the recall was initiated on 8/22/2003, and i was made aware of it on 8/31/2003. i have contacted numerous dealers in my area since then, none of which have had the ability to perform the recall work. 6 months later, i am still nowhere near being scheduled to have the recall work done, with no eta as to recall work completion. i am interested in understanding the nature of the manufacturer's inability to perform the recall work. the vehicle is still being paid for, along with insurance. many owners i know (thousands, actually - via a website that i frequent) are filing a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer. i just want my vehicle fixed, and a reasonable warranty applied to the work required to meet the safety standards outline in the complaint above. thank you.*ak |
