| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2003 mercury sable wagon vin [xxx]. it's suppose to have an 18 gallon gas tank. i can never get more than 13 gallons in and the gauge never shows full. the dealer had the car 4 days but did nothing. i can travel 220-230 miles before having to refill. i fill up when the low tank light comes on. they say they are looking into the situation. this is a dangerous situation as on the open road a gas station may not be available leaving a driver stranded in unsafe areas. i brought this to their attention within several weeks of purchase which was 7/30/03 and a number of times since. this is hazardous.*ak *js information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6) |
