| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: While driving my 2001 chrysler concorde down the interstate at 65mph with my three children, the engine stopped functioning and i lost control of my car. i had no power steering and no power brakes. fortunately i got off the highway avoiding serious injury. chrysler states that the engine has excessive sludge and will not honor the warranty. i believe that the engine has some problem that results in it getting too hot which creates this sludge problem. even on short 4 mile trips the hood and engine compartment are to hot to touch. these cars are a danger to drive and could pose a risk to anyone who is not strong enough to pull the car over without the benefit of power steering and brakes. |
