Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Paint peel on bottom drive and passenger doors, both sides. contacted gm and asked that i vist the oldsmobile dealer where i frequent. the dealter indicated that the paint peel is due to no splash guards or mud flaps. contacted gm customer service and gm sided with the dealer's assessment of the reason for the paint peel. however the dealer is willing to pay for half the cost to repair the paint peel. however it will not guarantee that the repair will prevent the paint peel from occurring in the same locations again. how can the paint peel be due to no splash guards or mud flaps when the 1999 oldsmobile standard or optional features do no include spash guards or mud flaps
