Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Bought van used august 1999 with 91,000 miles. van now has 134,000 miles. transmission has been rebuilt/replaced 3 times [2 rebuilds - october 2000 (cost: ~$1600) and april 2001 (cost:~$550); replaced with used transmission after last failure april 2003 (cost:$901)]. computer controls (single board engine controller - sbec) went bad while traveling at night on interstate on a trip - caused cam sensor and crank sensor to go bad as well (cost: ~$550). as you can see we have spent ~$3600 on a van that was purchased for $3700!!????? i am considering legal action against chrysler now.
