| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Owner has a 2000 ford excursion equipped with steeltex radial a/t tires size lt265/75r16. the vehicle had 1 tire blow out and was left on the side of the road. owner tried to contact firestone for road side assistance but firestone refused. the owner then received help from goodyear and replaced those tires with goodyear tires. now firestone will not honor the tire recall because the owner was not able to produce the damaged tires. owner says the tires provide further details. *jb *nm |
