Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: This is a complaint about the safety of a child booster seat called starriser comfy manufactured by britax. due to the faulty design of this product, whenever a child sleeps while riding in this booster seat, any braking, even minor braking, causes a whiplashing effect. this booster seat does not protect a child from this danger at all and should be recalled. when the manufacturer was contacted about this problem, all they indicated was that this booster seat was not designed to prevent whiplash for children who were asleep. in the real world, all parents know that children do fall asleep on long commutes so i don't understand how their engineers could omit this fact in designing this product. again, this product is a definate safety hazard and should be recalled.*ak
