Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Request for reimbursement for 2 front struts, 4 front tires, and 2 front alignments. *mr the vehicle was in motion when the consumer experienced a flat tire. it was discovered that a broken strut cut through the tires just around the rim of the wheel. there was another incident where the left front tire had gone flat. the tire was changed but a half of a mile of driving, the changed tire blew out. the strut was broken and cut the tire again. *sc the consumer received a recall notice after the incident happened. bmw stated they would pay for the struts, but not the tires and alignment since the consumer did not have the work performed at a bmw authorized dealer. recall#04v183000 *jb
