Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2001 ford explorer caught on fire while parked in the garage. *mr the consumer owned a 1995 ford mustang and the engine blew. the consumer also owned a 200 ford focus and the vehicle would not intermittently start. there were times when the ford focus would stall for long periods of time and the consumer was told by the service dealer that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. the consumer owned a 2001 ford explorer and the engine light would illuminate and later the vehicle caught fire in the garage of the consumer home. other problem that the explorer experienced were popping noises while the vehicle was in motion, the engine light had come on due to a bad egr sensor, the left blinker, light, left rear blinker, and brake bulb was out, the brakes grinded, the vehicle would hesitate and vibrate upon acceleration at low speeds that increase to higher speeds, the rear wipers were inoperative, and an electrical circuit was found defective. the consumer would like to receive monetary compensation for the disastrous loss. *sc |
