Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I had a 2002 chevy tahoe. about 1 year into owning the vehicle, strange brake noises occured intermittenly. it also was getting very poor gas mileage, down about 2-3 miles per gallon. i brought it in several times to brown and brown at superstition springs and asked them to check the brakes, which they never did. finally, after about 6-8 months of this problem, the issue was identified after my family and i were driving home one night and we smelled brakes burning. i took the tahoe back to brown and brown the next day. they found that the emergency brake had been stuck on the brakes for months, and finally burned up. the problem was fixed, under warranty, but with no apologies from chevy. unfortuneately, i had already received compensation from chevy for other issues relating to this tahoe. so i could not file a lemon law suit again. i ended up trading the vehicle in for another, due to all the issues. the vehicle was just constantly in the shop.*ak
