Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Hello. my name is [xxx] i own a 2000 victory sport cruiser motorcycle made by polaris. since i have owned the motorcycle it has had problems with slipping into false neutral between 2nd and 3rd gears and sometimes spontaneously dropping down from 3rd to 2nd. this does not occur all the time. maybe every once every 50 to 100 miles. to this date it has not caused me to have an accident, but i believe it may be something that should be fixed by the maker of the motorcycle. i have recently discovered that many other owners of the early (1999-2001) model victory motorcycles have had similar problems. the problem usually progresses until the transmission fails completely. i believe this is a potentially dangerous problem that needs your attention. thank you [xxx]. *ak information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr |
