Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The explanation i received from buick on my fuel pressure regulator leak recall problem i had with my buick lesabre. they have refused to address the problem of the car back firing, nor an explanation of a coincidental gasket leak which allowed coolant in the fuel, nor the reason for the rest of the repairs made to my car, such as replacing fuel injectors. spark plugs, etc. all had repair work. nor would he address the fact that he nor dave at hendrick have seen a vehicle that has had damage from the resulting back fire from the fuel leaking from the recalled part. dave at hendrick told me he has never taken one out that leaked, so i really resent the fact that they don't believe me when i tell them it backfired!! i had this problem on friday and called them monday after the car would not start after the back fire on friday night, because it was late friday night and i didn't think they would be open over the weekend. i contend that my vehicle damage was a result of the faulty parts, which were recalled, but they say they have never seen a vehicle that was damaged from the faulty parts. i have also talked with a mechanic who has seen the damage it causes and he told me it was exactly as i described it to him, and the work hendrick did on my vehicle was the same as he had to do on the vehicles he fixed. they have charged me nearly $1,00.00 for the repairs, also told me i needed my serpentine belt replaced along with some other repairs. i took my vehicle to the chevrolet garage in pittsburgh for inspection a couple weeks later and it passed without having the belt replaced. which just proves further, the fact that hendrick is trying to rip me off!! *jb |
