| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I see where chevrolet is recalling the surburban for a defective driveshaft. i have an early 2001 model and my driveshaft did cracked. i was stuck in san diego for two days for the dealer to get the new part. i was told by the service manager that this was very rare, thus hard to find the part. the mechanic told me that they could not find the part because this was so common and the other dealerships did not want to give up the part. first i am mad that i was lied to by the service manager, but i also wonder if the drive shaft probem is prevelent in the 2001 suburban model as well. i would be interested in your research.*ak |
