Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have an ongoing and unresolved issue with the brakes on my 2004 grand prix. the brakes have squeaked when stopping since the car was purchased in august 2004. i have taken the vehicle to the dealership several times for service. initially the rotors were resurfaced and the brake pads replaced. after about 500-1000 miles the brakes begin to squeek again. after a call to pontiac by my local dealership, they were told that they are aware of the issue but have no resolution. since that time the dealership has completely replaced the brakes and roters and the problem still exists, squeeking when stopping about 70% of the time. i am concerned that the design defect results in a safety issue in the brakes performance.*ak |
