Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: There were no events leading up to failure. driving to work and everything was normal then stopped at a stop light and the car did not want to accelerate and go through the intersection at a normal speed. dealership explained that the clutch went out and possibly the fly wheel. (fly wheels are covered under warranty. the dealership is saying it is not and that there is a "hydrolic clutch" in the car and is normal to go out with out any prior notification.) my car is still sitting at the dealership and is not being fixed due to a discrepency regarding warranty and due to what i feel is a safety issue with a part in the car giving out with out notification. (was also given an examply by someone at corporate that when your breaks fail they do not give warning which i know is not true because you will hear a screaming sound.) i also only have around 30,600 miles on the car and the clutch and fly wheel should not have gone out that soon. |
