| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The brake compressor failed to function when engaged going down an incline. the vehicle accelerated instead of slowing down/stopping. when this occurred, repeated depression of the brake pedal was applied. the failure was due to a computer glitch because of a programming problem. a diagnostic test was performed but since no fault code was found no repair has been done. this is on a chevrolet cut away chassis. no engine braking . vehicle actually accelerates going down hill, dangerous condition. please note that subsequent modes produced had an auxillary trans brake installed from gm. *bf *nm |
