| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2004 ford excursion with 9000 miles on it presently and have had numerous incidents with the vehicle losing power and getting stuck in the midde of the road and highway. this problem first occured in december 2004 with 5000 miles on it . since then it has been back to the dealership numerous times for the same problem and i have been told they can not find the problem. the problem did occur when they drove the truck . they put a egr valve and reprogrammed the computer, since then they are stumped and said they cant find the problem. it was just at the dealership for a month , it also had a recall to overhaul the transmission , since i got the truck back the loss of power has occurred to my wife and kids . i feel this vehicle is very unsafe and should not be on the road for my families safety as well as others. i since spoke with ford customers relations and they told me they could not do anything because the dealership can not find the problem. this truck is not even 1 year old yet , to the date it was manufactured. *ak |
