| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I went to credit cars to purchase a vehicle kind-of last minute. their salesman "alfredo" told me i needed some one to sign for "job liability." i told him i did not have nor want a co-signer. he assurred my friend/job liability signer, candace gulick, that she would not be a co-signer. we later found out that he lied. when i drove my car off the lot, credit cars and i had an agreement to fix the non-operating gages. they attempted to fix them 4 times.(1 at credit cars, 3 at cal-rich automotive) after 4 attempts and no luck, thomas from credit cars told me to fix the 2 problems with my own money, and because it was electrical he didn't have to fix it. we had an agreement before i bought the car. (the 2nd problem was i opened my sunroof once and it never closed again.) because of the sunroof not closing my upholstery molded and was ruined. i decided to take a trip a couple of hundred miles away and the transmission went out 10/15/2004 and left me stranded. this was only after having the car for almost 2mos. i had a pre-paid lawyer service write them a letter and all i received were harrassing phone calls at my last job. i spent almost $700.00 of my own money to try and get home when the "new" car left me stranded. mind you that i am a 21yr old female and i was alone.*ak |
