Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The electric glide out mechanism was located on the outside of the frame. this takes the clearance from the tires when the fifth wheel is turning. the tire rubbed against the mechanism and caused them to wear prematurely, which could result in a blow out. also, no chains can be put on tires because there is no space for them. chains is needed and required by law for driving in bad whether. the glide out manufacturer removed the mechanism from the outside of the fifth-wheel and put it in on the inside, which corrected the problem. this problem is on all fifth-wheel and trailers. *jb consumer feels should be recalled becaused of tires on left side rubbing on slideout system placed on outside of frame. *bf *nm |
