| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 1999 gmc sierra (new body style) and have complained about the brakes since i bought it in 2002. what it is doing is the antilock brakes will go off anytime i apply the brake at slow speeds and hit a minor bump in the road making the antilock brake trip and lunges forward like i lost my brakes. i was involved in an accident last year were i rear ended a mini van in part i think it was lack of brakes due to the antilock brakes not functioning correctly. two years ago during a small snow i was pulling into park at work and the antilock was tripped and forced me into a dumpster. the brakes are like a sponge it almost scares me at times. thanks for being aware of the problems that gm is having with the brakes. i seen the report on the news so i thought i would tell my story, rick |
