Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I see online that the 1999 suburban's anti lock brakes activate unexpectedly and are under investigation. i also had this problem and have repaired it in accordance with gm's technincal service bulletin on the subject. i removed the antilock sensors and cleaned the rust off of mounting surface on the front brakes and the problem subsided. the problem occurred when under 10 mph and was frequent and unexpected. on one occasion i nearly hit the fire station i work in's apparatus door and on another occasion i nearly hit a fence on the backside of my driveway.
