| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2001 gmc sierra 4 wd pick-up with 45,000 miles that experienced anti-lock failure.the system would start pulsating at low speeds. i had many close calls(smashed in to my garage door once) before pulling the fuse as advised by the gm dealer.after further investigation i found that most everyone that i know with 99-2002 year gm vehicles had their fuses pulled as well. i called gm previously regarding other brake problems (anti-lock pump failure)(gm rotors that only last 6,000 mies) and the arrogant customer service personel try to convince you that they haven't had any complaints about their brake parts or systems and won't cover anything even though we know they are liars. i saw the nhtsa investigation notice and wanted to give my two cents. thanks for making these crooks correct a dangerous situation. |
