| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2000 gmc jimmy experiencing problem with start up as well as with the gas gauge on the dashboard. *mr the incident occurred on an extremely cold morning in which the vehicle would not start. the following day the vehicle started, but the consumer noticed that the gas gauge started going from empty to full. the consumer was instructed by the manufacturer to take the vehicle to the dealer and have them replace the pcm module (powertrain control module) free of charge. the engineer suggested that this problem would occur if the weather is very cold. *sc the passenger side weather strip failed. *jb |
