Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Blown clutch on new 2003 vw jetta tdi 1.8. first occurance in august of 04 with 26,000 miles and again now in may of 05 with 40,500 or 14,000 miles to another blown clutch. i am not a teenage driver, i am 23 with excellent driving skills and have driven clutches all my adult driving life. there is something wrong with their clutch system. i have found tons of evidence in bulletin boards. vw is blaming this on poor driving skills and i believe this is a serious defect that occurs every 20,000 miles. consumers like me are gettign ripped off on this one left and right. you need to do something. this is no isolated incident! |
