Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I don't know the exact date this problem started so i have estimated it below. the car, when thoroughly warmed up (1/2 hour of continuous highway driving) does not respond to the gas pedal when in dead stop and go traffic (like at a toll booth) depresssing the gas pedal a normal amount brings no response from the car, no reving, no motion. depressing the pedal further causes the car to surge ahead in a fast out of control manner. this does not happen in the winter, spring summer and fall only. the service department is unable to address this problem, they say, because their service computer is not generating any problem codes.
