Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Back window on my 2000 chevy suburban is a lift hatch window. it has separated from the hinges, we can't open it anymore and i feel like it will separate to the point of being blown off as i travel down the road. i've taken the vehicle to a local dealer and was told that they would have to replace the whole class instead of fixing the separation of the hinges and that my warranty does not cover glass replacement. also i took the truck to a local glass shop to see what they could do and was told that he had seen at least four other vehicles of the same make that had this problem. i don't think this is normal wear and tear; this is a manufactures defect that should be looked at and maybe a recall started by gm. |
