Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The straps on my baby's car seat do not tighten easily. repeated tightening of the straps led to plastic fatigue on the piece that connects to the straps. we had two of these car seats with my first child. with the first one, dorel juvenile group sold me another car seat at a discounted price. with the second car seat to experience this trouble, dorel told me that they hadn't received any other claims of this problem. now with my second child, we mostly had trouble with the car seat when it was in the rear facing position. dorel should at least acknowledge that there is a problem with the design of the car seat that leads to plastic fatigue. this car seat is the comfort ride model no. 22-400-brd. there wasn't a box to check for this particular car seat. this was an intermittent problem. *sc
