Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the consumer stated 1999 daewoo linos is having problems with the engine light coming on, missing and stalling. the car stalled while driving. speed was not a factor in the stalling. the consumer took the car to the shop 12 times for the engine light staying on, and that was at 2 different dealerships. the light has been going on and off for three years. she would take the car in for service and the dealer would reset the engine and later the light would come back on. the owner has even had the car in the shop 3 times in one day. the owner has contacted daewoo and they sent a letter to have her sensor replaced. the censor was replaced and the light came back on a week later. the dealer replaced the muffler. the light went back off, and week later it was back on. the car i was not under warranty. daewoo told the consumer not to worry about the warranty running out because she had a problem with the car. the dealership told the consumer not to bring the car back because they did not know what was wrong. the light was still on . the consumer was afraid to drive the car because of the light staying on. *ak updated 1/5/2006 - *nm |
