Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Dt: last year while driving there was a problem with the window. there was a popping sound first ,and then the window fell down. the consumer called the dealership, who indicated that they could replace the whole window mechanism. there was a web made of plastic that holds the end of the cable and keeps window up. this piece of plastic failed. the consumer contacted the manufacturer, who advised the consumer to file a complaint. the consumer was concerned about children who could be in the back of the car and get cold when the window was down. the problem happened to the consumer again this weekend while driving at a shopping center, and hit a bump. then heard a popping and then the window came down again. the consumer was going to repair it himself.*ak
