| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The engine died while driving down the street. after coasting to a stop, i was able to restart the engine. recently when idling, the engine rpm's have surged from about 700 to approximately 1400 without touching the accelerator pedal. currently when the transmission is in park or neutral the engine surges from about 700 to approximately 1000. when i contacted a local volvo dealer service person, they acknowledged this has been a frequent problem. |
