Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Safety recall 05068 - front wheel speed sensor corrosion. nhtsa campaign number: 05v-379. i own a 1998 chevrolet silverado with the "unwanted abs activation", exactly as detailed in the recall notice dated august 29, 2005. i had to unhook the abs function to alleviate the problem, but now i have no abs at all, as i was told that i would have to replace the abs module which is very expensive. how can i get my 1998 vehicle problem corrected by the dealer, as part of this recall? thank you.*jb |
