| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: There have been several occurrences when i went to start my vehicle and the radio would not come on and the clock on the radio would not display the time. at first i thought that it was a blown fuse. i replaced the fuse but this event kept occurring over and over again. one day it was raining and the radio would not come on nor would the time be displayed on the screen and then i found out my wipers would not work either. so whenever this occurred again, i would check the wipers and find out that when the radio was not working, neither would the wipers. i would have to stop the vehicle, start and stop the engine repeatedly until the radio would come on. once that happened, my wipers would begin working too. this is still an ongoing problem. my wife had the vehicle at the dealership for maintenance and when she left, the radio was not working so she pulled back into the dealership and stopped the vehicle, talked to the service agent. he went out and started the vehicle and the radio was working. there is definitely an electrical short somewhere in this vehicle. *jb |
