Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The vapor valve, which usually stops the refueling when the gas tank is filled up, has been faulty. in essence, when trying to fill up a gas, the pressure in the gas tank builds up and stops the gas pump from refueling every 1 to 2 gallons it has taken us many garage visits, including toyota dealers, to identify the problem correctly. toyota usa refused to cover the problem since they claims that our car is out of warranty (toyota sienna le 2001). we only contend that this defect was due to the faulty original inspection at the factory and ask that toyota should be responsible for its own products. *jb |
