Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The ignition system has a device called passlock, which is supposed to disable the fuel pump in the event that someone is trying to steal your car. however, the '02 grand am is not always given encoded keys, but the system is still active. the car can be disabled for 10 minutes, awaiting the system to reset itself. *nm
