| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Dt: the contact received a recall nhtsa recall campaign 02i002000 concerning the anti-lock brakes in june 2004. she contacted the dealership to make an appointment. the dealership told her the remedy parts would not arrive until december 2004. the parts never arrived. last month she received a second recall notification concerning the anti-lock brakes. someone from the dealership contacted and informed her the recall parts were available, and to schedule an appointment. on the day of the appointment she dropped vehicle off and returned home. then, she received a call from the dealership telling her the parts were not available, and she needed to come and pick up the vehicle. as a result of not being able to have the recall repairs completed the abs failed. the contact depressed the brake pedal to stop and the vehicle began to skid. *ak |
