| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Took car in for valve adjustment (unusual to be needed until very high mileage), service tech found that exhaust manifold had a crack. honda does not patch and the entire part to be replaced is over $800.00. parts person proceeded to tell me that this is very common in my model of car due to the design causing manifold to overheat and crack. if the problem is very common then it is a flaw in the vehicle yet there is no bulletin or recall. not all models have this particular type of manifold and they stopped putting them in hondas all together beginning 2005. *jb |
