Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I purchased a motor driven cycle on the aprox. date below and would like to know how i could have it inspected to show the dmv where i live(alaska) that it meets fmvss. it has no sticker that i can locate on the bike anywhere and nothing on the mco which has the manufacturer name of china jialing industry co., ltd on it but nothing stating that it meets fmvss stamped on it either. it has a 49cc motor and has all the safety equipment as shown under section 571 of the nhtsa regulations. i would like to know how this bike could get into the u.s. past customs without something stating that it meets fmvss. i have tried the dealer which they only have a web site and my local dmv. i feel like i'm just getting the run around and just want to be able to ride my bike legally on the road. can you please help me in any way? i would greatly appreciate it. thank you. *jb
