Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: We bought our 2005 camry le v6 in the fall of 2004. from day one, we noticed the hesitation. when leaving a stop sign, for example, it would lag for a split second, then suddenly jerk into gear. the first week we called the dealer and was told this is normal for the first 1000 miles. when it continued we were told it was the computer. we mentioned it at every warranty check and they said they never saw the problem. we wish we knew that we're not the only ones so we would have pursued it earlier. toyota never mentioned knowing transmission problems in the 2005 camry. now our daughter has to learn how to drive! *jb |
