| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Several times, usually at stop lights, while idling with foot on the brake, the engine surges up to approx 1000 rpm for approx 3-5 sec. if foot was not on the brake, the truck could have accelerated into the car in front of me, or into the intersection. every time i'm at the ford dealership i have them investigate, but nothing is found on the computer code search, and the symptom is very irregular and rare, so it has not reproduced while at the dealer. i've seen this reported before on mycarstats.com. *nm |
