| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have a 2003 chevy silverado which sound like the steering shaft is about to fall out. i took it to the dealer under warranty and they used a grinder on the steering shaft. it wasn't too long and the problem recurred, i went back to the dealer this time not under warranty and the dealer said i would have to pay to replace the steering shaft. i did not have it replaced at this time. this is a manufactures defect which should be recalled. so far this hasn't created an accident. *nm |
