Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: The engine revved at a very high rpms when starting. when changing gears it made a loud clung sound and wanted to lunge into that direction. the vehicle has never shifted properly between gears. it was almost like it was slipping, and then finding the right gear. it was not a smooth transmission either. since i purchased the vehicle a little over 1-1/2 years ago the car has been in the shop more than 15 times. the dealers could not find the cause of the problem. i had to replace a transmission sensor, 02 sensor, sun roof, rear end, and cd player. the heater blend door had to be replaced , which didn't sound expensive, but the fix was to remove the entire heater plenum and replace the broken door, stop and drive assembly. cost $890.00. *ak
