Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Upon having nissan dealer troubleshoot reason for "service engine soon" light being on at 26,800 miles on my 2000 nissan frontier, i was told that the emissions system evap canister had "exploded" and charcoal pellets contaminated the system, requiring total replacement of the charcoal canister and evap valve to the tune of $597.00. being that item is part of emissions system and requires zero maintenance by the consumer, i was shocked to learn that the item was not covered under the emissions warranty.*ak |
