Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Car has erratic shifting, jerks when accelerating. taken to dealership and diagnosed as pressure control solenoid. when the trans pan was taken off there was significant amounts of metal shavings. the trasnmission was then taken apart and found that the clutch and many gears were damaged because of the metal. gm was contacted for assistance and they said they wouldn't guarantee there defective parts because they can not determine how the previous owner took care of the car.*ak
