Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I am concerned over the recent recall of the britax husky child restraint car seat. they have changed the instructions several times as to how to install the seat using a lap belt. compliance testing was done by nhtsa and the seat failed. *jb my concern is that the discontinued super elite model which is the same shell as the husky has not been recalled. when i questioned britax as to why the super elite was able to still use the 'long' belt path with a lap belt and no recline bar, i was told that the seat is different and the long belt path should still be used. the only difference between the two seats is that the husky has a recline bar and the super elite doesn't - the shells are exactly the same. i believe a recall should be issued on the super elite as well. *jb
