| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Several times during the past 6 months while coming to a stop and lightly applying the brakes the engine starts to race to the point it can't be held back with the brakes. quickly putting the transmission in neutral corrects the problem immediately and the engine returns to idle speed. most recently i had this problem 3 time in one evening. the last time i was slowly turning onto my driveway and the car took off. before i could react i was on the front lawn and narrowly missed my son who happened to be on the driveway. this is a serious problem and someone is going to get killed or seriously injured.*ak |
