Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I humbly request your assistance in this matter, i moved to florida two years ago and have just recently found out that i was never issued a florida drivers license. i have written gov. bush, fred dickinson , sandra lambert , and ms. bunny hensly. i have attached below the many e-mail conversations with the hsmv and myself for your consideration and review. i turn to your department out of sheer frustration and disillusion of how greatly my state has failed to help in matter that took place in 1996, a minor traffic violation which the statutes of limitations have completely expired on. please any help you can offer in this situation in getting it resolved will be greatly appreciated. tue, 10 feb 2004 17:09:53 -0500 "sandra lambert" <lambert.sandra@hsmv.state.fl.us> bensanders76@yahoo.com re: fw: interlock systems of florida under fire... the reinstatement fee you mentioned was for a financial responsibility suspension, for not having insurance on your vehicle. you insure a vehicle, not a driver license. your driving privilege (not license) was suspended, and the number is your state identification card number. you do not have to have a driver license to own a vehicle. i have been in touch with judge conley and we are waiting for a clearance of your suspension in indiana. once that is received, you may be eligible for a driver license. i will follow up again tomorrow and be in touch with you. ms. lambert, you can can contact judge conley at 317-327-5738 or by fax at 317-327-5745, case number 98-01-if-014094, back in 1996. if you look at my florida driving record you can see that i had to pay $150 reinstatement fee because my license was suspended because of my bank and insurance company, failing to provide roof of insurance to the dmv. if i didn't have a license, how could it be suspended, how could i buy a car, how could i title it, and how could i register it for the past two years?
