Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: My 2000 chevrolet monte carlo ls developed a water leak in it on the passenger side in the floor area coming from under the dash. the car is going to be repaired at the same dealership where i bought it new. i was informed by the repair person there has been similar problems with other models made by gm (buick was mentioned). it appears there is a defect in an area under the dash on the passenger side where a passenger air filter was supposed to be but not in my car. in that area, rainwater builds up and swells some seals and eventually lets water in through that defective area. i thought it would be worth reporting this since it has been in other vehicles as well. please let me know if you may need more info or if this needs to be reported elsewhere.*ak
